"Difficulty contacting anyone from the Pain..."

About: Scunthorpe General Hospital

I have never been able to contact the clinic to change appointments, have a query or in respect of my appointment today to inform the clinic of my inability to attend. The same problem exists for the the Ironstone Building, for the Brumby Suite as well as the main hospital. The telephone number on the bottom of hospital correspondence either rings out or goes to an answerphone where no staff member has the decency to contact you about your query. The hospital switchboard have the same problem, they know that it is extremely difficult to get hold of anyone from the clinic, they have put me through to the wrong department just to get rid of me. Today when I called and after the rigmarole of ringing out, answerphone and then the wrong department, I asked to be put through to the administration team for the clinic and ended up with a medical department that had nothing to do with pain management. It is not acceptable to not be able to contact staff at a clinic. This issue has been going on for over a year, according to other reviews on this site. I am going to complain to the hospital.
