Paramedics came to my home on 15 August and took me to Good Hope Hospital.
I was confused but they were very good and thorough in their examination. All the staff at Good Hope (in the Stroke Unit) were very good; they were very friendly, they explained what was happening, and why different assessments and treatments needed to be done. This includes doctors, nurses, physio's, O/T's and cleaners; they were all very helpful and I felt that my time with them was in really competent hands.
I am now at home and I feel that I am recovering well; thanks for everything.
