"I will forever be grateful"

About: Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as a relative),

My husband was on his way back from work when he suddenly took ill. He called me to come to him but didn't manage to tell me his exact location because he stopped breathing.

I called for the ambulance and many arrived on leeds road but we were unable to locate him until someone had seen him collapsed in his car ..by this time I was begging the paramedics to find him as I knew he was dying...

One paramedic took pity and put me in his car and said we will look for him together. As soon as we got in his car his radio showed my husband had been found and the paramedic took me straight to him... I was by his side as he was dying and that was all thanks to that paramedic... and the many others who were there to help him...

Some things I still can't remember but I certainly remember that kind man who took me straight to my husband...If it hadn't been for him I wouldn't have been able to be by his side and I want to say thank you thank you thank you...

I don't know how to find you but I will forever be grateful to you and the others who helped my husband.
