I had to have an lump surgically removed from under my left arm a very minor condition in the whole scheme of things, I have to say that all the staff were very professional, kind and compassionate. The surgeon that assessed me whose name was Armand (I think) despite having a very full schedule took time to introduce himself and showed genuine kindness and concern. Which I found surprising in such an obviously over worked place but found it very touching that people could retain such humanity is such a setting. The All the staff were clear in informing me about what was happening and what would happen. I was on ward 9 and the ward and care was faultless. Again I have to note how they retained such professionalism and kindness when working at such a constantly rapid pace was beyond me.
The only thing that could be improves is the waiting time in A&E, as I had to wait 4 hours to be seen
