"When I had to go into Grantham hospital for an operation I was treated very well"

About: Grantham & District Hospital / General surgery Grantham & District Hospital / Physiotherapy

(as the patient),

When I had to go into Grantham hospital for an operation on my foot (ankle tendon) I was treated very well. I met with the anaesthetist and surgeon who were both very nice and also the nurses who booked me in and helped get me ready for surgery. The nurse who chatted to me and made me feel at ease right before I went to the theatre they were all so lovely and friendly.

After the operation the nurses, physio, occupational therapist too helped me with everything and nothing seemed too much trouble for anyone even the ones who brought round cups of tea and food, all very kind. A nurse called Stella who I had to buzz quite often to go to the toilet came to me so many times and was so lovely she just came to me exactly the same each time with a smile and a chat. So thankful
