Two and a half hours late!
I was the very last patient in the clinic !
The staff, I believe, victimised me because I complained about the delay. I was polite at all times but I feel the staff on duty played games with people . They were more concerned about booking their Christmas holidays.
It was not only me who was becoming frustrated other members of the public where as well. The nursing staff (admin) stated this was an everyday experance they were used to it.
They claimed they had asked for the system to be changed but 'management ' were not interested. If Stoke Mandeville, I note rated as requiring improvement , has any intention of doing so they must address this issue. These consulting rooms are the initial point of contact with the hospital. It is imperative that these clinics are not shambolic as they do not instal any confidence in the hospital and it's staff.
Furthermore because of the delays I was charged £6.00 to pay for your incompetence. I was so impressed I hav asked to be treated at another hospital .
The consultant was excellent .
