"A&E visit after Foo Fighters concert"

About: Milton Keynes Hospital

I'd like to say how impressed both my wife and I were with the Milton Keynes A&E department and Amulance service.

We had been at a Foo Fighters concert at the MK Bowl and after what was obviously incredibly bad organisation by the Bowl we began walking what turned out to be a 4 mile walk to find a taxi.

About 3/4 of the way there and whilst walking up a hill, my Pacemaker/defibrillator vibrated and I began to have chest pain. We found 3 very helpful Police officers who called an Ambulance for me and I was taken to MK A&E.

Throughout the whole experience I found the Ambulance team and A&E doctors and nurses to be extremely professional, friendly and helpful. They explained everything thoroughly and in a way that made sense and helped me warm up which was a bit of a struggle.

It's a shame we don't live in this area as we're unlikely to have to return but if we did I'd highly recommend their services for when the need presents itself.

Thank you to them all.
