What I liked

i stayed in the childrens unit with my 11 month old son for 4 days, and was delighted with the care he received, my son had a convulsion at home so i rang an ambulance which was at my home within 5 minutes, the paramedics where fantastic and very caring, when we arrived at the hospital we went to a&e and where there for a couple of hours whilst they did tests and took blood and had an xray the staff where incredable they made me feel at ease with what was happening, they where great with my little boy and i felt like they really did care :) we then got transfered up to the childrens unit and the fantastic care continued the nurses who worked long hours and where constantly running about always had a smile on their faces and where always there if you needed them, the doctors and consultants where great too they explained everything they where doing for my son and the reasons why they where doing it!! also the cleaning staff kept the wards very clean! i want to thanks every single person who at some point had contact with my son because altogether each and everyone of them helped to make my stay in the hospital as worry free as possible so the only thing i had to concentrate on was my baby!!!
