"accident and emergency Hairmyres hospital east kilbride"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

Attended a&e with my son this week, following an accident on his bike. In and out in one hour. Seen by doctor, x ray and then elbow put in sling.

Fabulous care and treatment. However I wish they could improve the waiting area, as it is very poor.

Dear Plrosie

Thank you for sharing your recent experience. I am pleased to hear that your son was seen and treated promptly. Staff work hard to ensure that appropriate care is provided and will be delighted to read your comments. I hope your son is now recovering well.

I have noted your comments regarding the waiting area and this is something that I will be looking into further.

Thank you for contacting us.

Lise
