About: Castleview Day Care

(as a service user),

I love it here at Castleview. I come one day each week, I’m trying to get another day but the centre is full. I love seeing other people, everyone talks to you, we all get on alright. I live in sheltered housing and no one talks to me up there.

If I didn’t come to the day centre I would be in the house all day looking at four white walls.

I like going for runs in the bus, I like the games and I like the company. I get on great with all the staff.

I would be better if the centre had more staff, they are run off their feet. They are so busy they don’t get a chance to have a rest even though I tell them to slow down. Hopefully two more people will be starting soon.

Many thanks for taking the time to highlight your thoughts on your experiences at Castleview Day Service.

It is, of course, reassuring for us to see that the services we provide seem to be addressing the needs of those that we support and It is good that you note that the company there is something that is important to you.

It is my understanding that there is the required number of staff available on a day by day basis but I will ask one of my colleagues to look into this matter further on your behalf.
