"Waiting time"

The staff great. Hard working, lovely people . The waiting time for an operation atrocious. Why weigh me take swabs blood pressure giving me the sense my operation would be imminent to then find out , with a few phone calls that it would be 8 months at least . In that time I could lose weight gain weight get high blood pressure get mrsa etc etc . Please understand that I know your busy very busy and the strain on the NHS is immense, so why waste money doing these checks when they will have to be repeated for pre op checks . 8 months is a nightmare I can't ride my motorbike properly were my skinny jeans and bendy knee properly haven't been able to since some lame pathetic driver didn't use what we were taught at school the green cross code look both ways before pulling out in busy traffic . It may be a day case operation but if it works to me it will put my life back together . I hate moaning but everyday I put up with pain like a burning dagger shoved in my knee I just want to get back to normal . I'm sorry if I seem ungrateful totally the opposite just wish it would come sooner . And I wasn't told that I would be wIting nearly a year . Thank you for listening to me whine.
