"Disgusted"

About: Charing Cross Hospital

Yet again I am writing a bad review on an NHS hospital. As usual the staff are dismissive, arrogant, rude, disrespectful and completely unfriendly with a lack of compassion and when I say a lack of compassion I mean none at all. Apparently I do not hold the key to make decisions about my own body and I should just be happy in being treated this way. Oh and I should also just "get over" the fact that I would prefer a professional performing my major surgery and not a trainee but that's fine I will sign a consent form for a trainee to use me for educational purposes before I am even dead and when something goes wrong it will all be my fault? and I thought St Mary's was bad? Do not even bother telling me to contact PALS they are absolutely useless as well.

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is very concerned by your posting about the Neurosurgery and PALS departments at Charing Cross hospital.

All feedback is taken very seriously and your comments have been passed onto senior managers for both Neurosurgery and PALS departments.

Though you indicate you don't wish to speak with someone from PALS, we would encourage you to do so, to give Imperial an opportunity to discuss your concerns further.

PALS can be contacted either by email on pals@imperial.nhs.uk or by telephone on 0203 313 0088.

Please accept our apologies for distress caused by contact with staff in both departments.
