What I liked

The efficiency, friendliness and professionalism of all the staff with whom I had contact.

The waiting areas in the Wilson Hey suite were bright, comfortable and clean.

What could be improved

I would have preferred not to have had the television in the Pre Op sitting area.

I had approximately 3 hours to wait from admission to operation and my wife, who accompanied me, had no indication of how long she would have to wait. She was consequently sat in the admissions waiting area for what must have seemed to her a very long time.

This could have been avoided if we had been given some indication of the probable waiting time.

|I would like to express my thanks to all the Urology department staff and the nursing staff of the recovery ward for their care during my brief stay in the hospital (1 day).
