About: Airedale General Hospital

I had a fall and gashed my head

The ambulance was at my house within 5 mins the two ambulance staff could not have been better they were great

This is the only negative I have - we got to A&E but the ambulance staff had to wait nearly an hour to hand me over to a nurse what a waste of skilled manpower obvious staff shortage

When i was assessed it took almost 4 hours to see someone to get stitched up.

Again I am not complaining It is just a fact

The nurse was so good both my wife and myself were completely at ease they were really good at their job

Thank you very much Steve for your wonderful feedback regarding the care you received by all staff in the Emergency Department at Airedale General Hospital.

It is always nice to receive comments of appreciation which, amidst the constant pressures in the NHS, are a real boost to staff morale and I shall copy your comments to those who were involved in your care.
