"Recurrent miscarriages"

I was referred to the Gynecology department due to recurrent miscarriages.

I was given an appointment after 3 months of referral, which I suppose is fair. However my next follow up appointment wasn't till 6 months later. It was cancelled a couple of times before I could see them again. But there was no point in going to my next appointment as my results had been lost. I then was told I would be seen 6 weeks later but the appointment wasn't till 4 months later. I've had only 4 appointments within 1.5 years. Every time I saw different doctors who didn't have a clue about my history, so each time I had to review my history and each time I was told something different eventually being told 'oh sorry we can't do anything'. Very insensitive and very uncaring. What's the point in me going through all that for 1.5 years when I'm back to square one.

I wouldn't recommend this department to anyone. Very unorganized, don't see patients on time (had to wait couple to 3 of hours to be seen when i had appointments with them).

I went back to my GP and asked to be referred elsewhere. I got an appointment within 2 weeks. The specialist I saw was extremely nice and listened to me and gave me answers I've been looking for. My next follow up appointment came straight away, unlike Dewsbury, and I'm seeing them in 2 weeks. They are very efficient and caring, completely opposite to the Dewsbury Gynecology Department.
