What I liked
Some of the nurses.
What could be improved
The ambulance could have been faster and more sympathetic. They didn 't seem to care about the amount of pain I was in.
I really needed somewhere to lie down whilst I was waiting in A&E as I was in a lot of pain.
I never saw the same doctor twice.
The painkillers provided were not enough for the pain but because I didnt see a doctor for 48 hours I couldn't get anything stronger.
I wasn't informed about my care (for example I was told i would be going for an ultrasound but not informed that I needed a full bladder, therefore had to undergo an internal scan which aggravated the pain.)
I was on fluids only for 48 hours unnecessarily because a doctor did not come to review me.
I was sent home with simple painkillers because no surgeory was required, but am still in pain and have no explanation of why.
I had to tell every nurse that came that I could not swallow tablets and requested that they write this in my notes, which they didn't do.
"Some of the nurses."
