"Considerate of special needs"

About: Bedford Hospital South Wing

I attended A&E with an injured child and their ASD sibling.

The receptionist acknowledged and accepted that the experience would be very difficult for both children and we were seen quickly within an hour.

I am very grateful, my injured child received excellent care and their sibling coped by using the quiet "children area" with a tv to distract and without having an excessive wait.
