What I liked

I was admitted to the hospital via ambulance and the A&E Dept and then went to the Intensive Unit and then the Stroke Unit. This was my first time in hospital (I am 65). Throughout my 3 day stay I was kept fully informed about what was happening to me (as were my family). All 3 departments expected me and knew all about me. All the staff from the porter who wheelchaired me everywhere to the Consultant that explained everything to me were polite to me and to their colleagues and obviously liked working in the hospital. Having heard horror stories about food and hygiene I was surprised at how good the food tasted and how clean the wards were. I am not easily pleased but I must give credit where it is due.
