What I liked

my dad had a fall on his way home from a coach holiday and was taken to AGH. he is in his 80's and was very shaken and anxious. the staff rang me at home in Newcastle to tell me he was alright because i was going away on holiday the next day. he missed the coach home and the receptionist phoned for a taxi to take him and his friend to Derbyshire. he could not speak highly enough of all the staff and the caring manner in which he was looked after. they certainly put those little touches to his care that make a good hospital great.

What could be improved

it was first rate so could not have been improved

thank you to all involved. knowing that someone had gone to the trouble of phoning me helped me to make the decision to still go on holiday. my dad is making a good recovery from his fall and i had a much needed holiday that has recharged the batteries so that i can contiue to be his main carer.
