About: Cornerstone Castlecraigs Court

(as a service user),

I live at Castlecraig court. The staff there come in to my house to help with cleaning and cooking and they take me to do the shopping. Every Saturday I go to the football. On other days there is a disco, I can get a massage and I can go to the bookies.

I like staying there but I feel unsafe. There is a gate at the back of my house that makes a lot of noise at night, some nights I think someone is outside. I think it would be easy for someone to jump the wall. I can buzz the staff and the police have also come with torches but there was no one there. I would like more security. I would like a bigger gate to feel more safe.

Thank you for letting us know that you're receiving the support you need to get out and about to do all of these activities.

I'm sorry to hear that you sometimes feel unsafe during the night, I would like to reassure you that Castlecraigs Court and surrounding area is very safe with lots of security measures in place. However, I will make enquiries into the noise from the gate and report any faults to North Ayrshire Council.

Also, I'll ask the local Community Police Officer to visit Castlecraigs Court again for you to have the opportunity to tell them about your concerns.
