I turned up at the Minor Injuries Clinic at 09.30, a Tuesday morning after the August Bank Holiday weekend. I expected the clinic to be busy and it was. The previous Thursday I had an accident in my garden and damaged an ankle (as well as lacerations on my arms and legs). I was assessed within 15 minutes and saw the duty doctor within about an hour. They required an x-ray and this was completed within the next 15 minutes. A short time later I was called by the doctor again to discuss the results of the x-ray and the self - treatment required to aid my recovery. I left the Clinic at about 11.15.
Despite being very busy it was an extremely impressive service by caring and efficient staff. They are a credit to the NHS and particularly to Bognor Regis War Memorial Hospital.
Thank you.
"A caring and efficient service"
