"RENAL DEPARTMENT WARDS"

My husband spent the last few weeks of his life on Peters Ward and Handfield-Jones ward

His treatment was first class, all of the staff showed understanding and kindness towards him, he was treated with great respect and dignity, and he felt safe and knew he could rely on the staff for all of his needs. Through this very difficult period I as my husbands carer was treated so well with such understanding and empathy towards my heartbreaking situation.

I could never thank the staff enough and I will remember all of my life the love and kindness shown to my husband and I, the cleaners, the hostesses, the HCA's and staff nurses, the sisters in charge and doctors and when the time came The Pallative Care team. and the Counselling department.
