"A&e review"

I recently attended a&e as was feeling breathless ,I was 8 months pregnant.You have to sit on some seats by the entrance &wait to be seen-Isat waiting for about 15 minutes.I then watched a man bringing his wife in& they stood near the seats where I was waiting & the nurse said to them you can go in now-even though the nurse knew they'd just arrived as the nurse had seen them coming in.I told the nurse I'd been waiting for 15 minutes & is it not first come,first served?

The nurse then said I can go in the other room( but only because I was complaining& then seemed a bit abrupt with me).When I was called in a nurse said they would take blood tests,I agreed even though I hate needles.I turned my head away as the nurse put needle in,it felt more painful than usual so I turned to look& the nurse was putting a cannula in my arm.I told the nurse I don't want that in, the nurse kept saying look it says on my notes that the nurse says they are to put it in.

The nurse should have asked my permission as I wouldn't have agreed to that.i had to leave it in for 1and a half hours& it was painful.I then sat outside for 1& a half hours writing to be called back in( for blood test results to come back)as needed fresh air.I told reception my name,telling them that if I'm called I'm outside.I happened to go back in to ask if I've been called yet& the nurse was standing there& the nurse said they had just called my name out 3 times(reception hadn't said I was outside like they said they would).The dr said all my results have came back normal so I left.15 mins later got a phone call off the doctor asking if I can return as they'd just got one of the results back which was abnormal.Why was I allowed to leave if they were still waiting for a test result?
