I've had severe panic attacks and anxiety for about the last four years. They got worse over the course of a day and I wasn't sure what to do. I rang NHS Direct. I was nervous about ringing them because I'd had a bit of a bad experience in the past but they were really good. They put me in touch with the Mental Health Access Team near to my University and the Access Team were really understanding and helped me to have a point of call if I needed it in the future. They were really good at being emotionally supportive and I know that they are there if I need them again.
