"midwife just doesn't seem to care"

I have gone overdue in my pregnancy and I am worried about the health of myself and my baby. I don't wish to go beyond 42 weeks pregnant as I know this increases my risks and my babies health, the placenta stops working, the babies going to be probably far too big to deliver and baby pooing the waters are more common. I don't want to be induced so late as 12 days over, I think this is disgusting that you leave women until then to be induced. Inductions should be no later than 10 days over regardless of how healthy a woman has been in pregnancy. Sweeps should be offered at 40+2, then again at 40 + 4/5, then one more at 8 days over.

If a women requests a c- section due to going over due she should have that option looked into, not just brushed off just because she isn't suffering health problems, becoming stressed and upset is going to cause problems for the mum to be health and welfare, which in turn is going to affect the baby.

Midwives should be a little more sympathetic to a women's concerns and listen to us a bit more, not just fob us off which I feel is happening to me. A woman knows her body better than anyone else after all.

I am seriously looking at going elsewhere for my care as every appointment I have had with my midwife I have left more and more depressed, which surely isn't right. The midwife keeps things very close to their chest, they don't explain things so when I look at my notes I am extremely confused, the midwife should sit with her ladies and explain what they had written and what they mean by the jargon.
