About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford)

Fractured shoulder on holiday - prompt triage, X-rays and doctor's consultation all in 1 1/2 hours. Very thorough, considerate and reassuring.

Only drawback was the arrangements for follow up back home were left up to me.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of the Emergency Department at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital. I am delighted to hear that you were happy with the care you received. However, we apologise that follow up arrangements at your local hospital were not organised for you. For some hospitals we are required to make follow up appointments and others ask that the patient makes contact themselves.
