Yet again I have been let down.
The build up to major surgery would not have happened if I had not constantly chased my appointments and made them myself through the incompetent system and staff. I would probably still be waiting for surgery.
During my stay it was hell, and post op I had to chase appointments yet again. Last date of seeing my consultant was 6th July of which they were referring me to another consultant and physio at Wycombe.
Today 28.08.2015, contacted Wycombe to chase my physio appointment to be told there is no appointment, and none pending. Why am I not surprised? I Have now left a message for the consultants secretary to return my call, and help me out.
I have already made a complaint through Pals pre op and an official complaint post op. I have also had a conversation with
Anthony Barton who assured me they were improving systems. Well there is certainly no improvement as far as I am concerned. I even suggested a system to them, but for someone to challenge the status Quo is unheard of.
I had an amazing surgeon but sadly they are let down by an outdated system and incompetent staff.
So how long will it be before I get my long awaited physio? Your guess is as good as mine.
