"Fantastc from start to finish"

About: Charles Clifford Dental Hospital

From the moment I rang - in agony - to the moment I left my appointment, I was truly impressed with the quality of care I received. The person who took my initial phone call, was professional whilst being kind and empathetic. On arrival for my appointment on 18th August, the Receptionist/Administrator was again warm and professional. My initial examination was thorough and I was soon made aware of my options: I opted for extraction over root canal but my choices were made clear to me and I felt confident I was doing the right thing for me. The extraction team were marvellous: the 5th year student was in charge of the operation. The doctor presided in their capacity as Tutor - I was especially impressed by them and the way they interacted with both patient and colleagues. The extraction was hideous (the fault of my tooth entirely, and not the dentist) and the doctor was required to take over and drill out the offending root. It was a deeply unpleasant experience but that's dentistry for you! I was reassured and well looked after the whole time: these things happen. My aftercare was excellent and I was sent home knowing what I needed to do. I have to return in 10 days for another extraction and, although nervous, I am 100% confident that the team will do a great job, even if this other tooth is as stubborn as the first one! Thanks so much to all concerned - very best of luck with your future careers.
