What I liked

My care and treatment was swift and efficient. At the initial consultations, I never had to wait too long before going to the next department for all the various tests (there were lots).

All the staff who took care of me before, during and after my surgery were kind, efficient and professional and told me exactly what would happen throughout.

What could be improved

Waiting areas were very crowded and not very comfortable.

Communication between GP and hospital weren't great - my change of address got lost and I missed an appointment.

Sheffield Teaching Hospitals are currently exploring a number of projects in non ward areas to improve the hospital environment.
