Absoluetly useless hospital, telephone lines are like ive never known. no one rings you back.
Will sign off anonymous to avoid further mistreatment. This hospital is appalling.
I am a patient in severe pain for the past 10 days. My consultation with the ENT. Doctor was fantastic, kind and considerate and told me to ring for an CT scan if the pain persisted.
It did and I attempted to ring the hospital. The hospital did not answer . 52 minutes of being second in a queue (it was clear I was much further down than second) I spoke to someone who said I cannot book a CT. scan as my notes from the clinic 7 days ago had not been typed up. The medical secretaries have been too busy.
Nobody rang me and eventually I was forced to turn up at the hospital as I couldn't get through on the phone.they told me to ring the day after and again I was unable to get through on the phone, and again forced to turn up in severe pain.
The reception staff very casually at X-ray department got a coffee, rifled through a bag before asking if they could help. Then said I was on a list and despite being there would have to wait till the next day.
Unable to sleep and in pain, I turned up in the morning to ask for an appointment. They said they would ring me. They haven't. I am still waiting and the direct number to the X-ray dept takes you to voicemail and noone rings you back.
Lets hope a CT scan of the brain is not that urgent.
