I must commend all the wonderful staff who cared for my 93-year-old mother who has just spent several weeks in the ward. She has dementia and was suffering from an infection and that she has now been able to return home is a testament to their excellent skills. Apart from their medical expertise, everyone treated her with the greatest compassion and understanding as well as showing much kindness and thoughtfulness to me as her carer and to my elderly father. I was kept up to date at all times and offered great help and advice with some difficult options. I wish I could name the individuals but there were so many involved in her care and in all the time I visited the hospital I only ever encountered help and kindness. It's good to know that the NHS can still excel: if other hospitals need to see how it should be done let them visit the the ward at the North Cotswold Hospital.
"Superb in-patient care"
