"Amazing staff made unpleasant procedures ok!"

About: Darlington Memorial Hospital

I have had both an endoscopy and colonoscopy in the last few weeks and I can not praise the staff enough. The nurses stroked my head and held my hand when things were a bit painful and the consultants kept talking, keeping me calm and informed throughout. Neither procedure was particularly pleasant but before, during and after the staff were friendly, calming and humorous throughout. Wish I had got the staff's names but as both my appointments involved different teams I can only assume everyone in this department is amazing
