My Dad was referred to NSECH by his GP yesterday as had experienced chest pain and I wanted to thank the staff on A and E and Ward 10 for providing an efficient yet friendly service. The doctor who initially attended to Dad had a good knowledge of cardiology services having just worked in this speciality themself, this put us at ease straight away and their prediction of my Dad's pathway of care was spot on.

The staff on Ward 10 were clearly busy but had time for a joke on with us all, which again relaxed the hospital atmosphere. Unbeknown to any of the staff we met I am a staff member in the trust myself and it made me feel proud to work in a trust that can look after someone I love in such an efficient and caring manner. Thank you.

Dear Leanne,

What a scary time for both you and your Dad - I do hope he is doing well ? Delighted that he's recievd all the care he needed and that this was delivered in just the way you wanted.

As a member of the Trust it does feel very different to be on the other side of care doesn't it ? I always think it provides such important insight into the things that really matter . It's lovely to know that you were able to observe care that allowed you to feel proud - that's just how we would want it to be.
