What I liked
Nurses were always helpful and polite, even when obviously overworked. Clean wards (B2, B3).
What could be improved
Drs rounds very early in the morning making it almost impossible for me to be there with my partner to find out what was going on with her diagnosis and treatment. Patientline systems an absolute scam, 40-50p per min, and you have to wait at least one minute before being connected to the patient, but prob not DPW fault for this. Car parking expensive if you don't know about the day-ticket scheme (£3/day vs around £2.5 a visit) which AFAIK is only displayed in one place.
The no-smoking rules are a bit draconian, no smoking anywhere on site, and security will come and have ago if they catch you. Would be nice to have a smoking shelter, like Addenbrooks or Peterborough. Being in Hospital is not exactly a stress-free environment.
Wards have Protected Mealtimes, which means visitors are not allowed on the wards when patients are eating, but meals always seem to overrun into visiting hours sometimes by 30 minutes or so, meaning you end up waiting in a corridor for 1/3 of the time you should be with the patient.
