From the bottom of my heart me and my family cannot ever thank enough or forget the way the team looked after me and my family through my labour. It was a bad labour and needed alot of staff intervention and alot of people had to be involved in my care and my baby daughters. My faith and trust was never an issue as the proffesional way they dealt with me and they made me feel safe and mantain my dignity at my most vunerable time. From the midwife when i walked into the labour ward who stayed with me through the beginning and to the one who massaged my back their whole shift (you were a life saver as baby was back to back) it must have been knackering for them every contraction but they never moaned im sure if your reading this you will know who you are and have one big right arm muscle from that day and this was a student and what a fantastic midwife they are already. To the head midwife who gave me that strength to get through the last bit and not to have forceps or c section. To the anaesthetist who held my hand when i was scared and talked to me throughout my surgery. You are all a team of very special people and i will never forget the care i got and i wouldnt have wished to be anywhere then at airedale with your staff. So many people where involved and im sure missing out alot of thank yous.until next time.
"what a team of fantastic people on the labour ward"
