"Excellent care"

About: Stepping Hill Hospital

My 93 year old father in law was in ward C6 for two weeks from 4th to 18th August 2015. He has many health problems and also suffers from dementia. The care he received on the ward was excellent. We could not fault it in any way. The staff were great with him. They kept us fully informed about every part of his care as he could not remember to tell us himself. They made sure he was comfortable and warm at all times. Did their best to encourage him to eat. Our very grateful thanks go to all the staff on this ward. Sadly he was discharged to The Meadows for end of life care, but his stay in hospital was made easier for him and the family by the excellent care on this ward.

Thank you very much for your kind comments. I am pleased that our staff made such a difference, and will pass them to the staff on the ward.
