"Glaucoma Clinic"

About: Broomfield Hospital

I have no complaints about the Glaucoma Clinic or the staff, they are all very professional going about there jobs.

My main complaint is about trying to get an appointment to see one of the Opthalmology team. On my last visit on the 25th June 2015 I was told not to use my eye drops for 3 months and come back for a eye pressure check in September.

I tried to make an appointment today the 24th August 2015, to be told "you are on the list and will be getting an appointment through the post" I pointed out that I should be going back after my last visit in June, only to be told " that it's a very busy clinic, and you may have to go up to 2 months over that time".

As far as I am concerned that is not acceptable and I have had the same response over the last 2-3 years, and I would only give the appointment system 1 out 10, as I don't think the appointments department are really fit for purpose.

And I will be contacting the CQC, to get some pressure brought to the Head of Opthalmology
