That morning I was surrounded by nurses and doctors on the operating table in Conquest Hospital. It was nerve-racking experience…but I put my cool, calm and collected face on! But really I just wanted to crawl underneath the operating table and refuse to come out! I was repeating this little mantra in my head: ” If I could get through this I could get through anything”. I learned I was definitely stronger than anyone (even me) had reckoned…
"I’ve become a first-time mum to my baby boy!"
