What I liked

midwives/support staff on the delivery suite / assessment unit

privacy of the home from home delivery suites

waterbirth experience

What could be improved

midwife being unsure of how to warer birth- didnt mind that but could have kept it to herself / concealed her inexperience more! (was all fine though!)

attitude of midwives on post-natal ward

visiting hours for close family on post natal ward

privacy on post-natal ward

cleanliness on post natal

Anything else?

overall would recommend a birth at the LGI - the midwives before and during the birth were lovely...the post-natal ward wasn't as nice but they were busier too

I was pleased to hear you liked the privacy on the delivery suite and your waterbirth experience. However, I was sorry to learn that you felt the attitude of midwives, cleanliness and privacy on the post-natal ward could be improved.
