"Brilliant Paramedic"

About: West Midlands Ambulance Service University NHS Foundation Trust

(as the patient),

During my recovery at home after a mastectomy with an immediate implant reconstruction I suffered a haematoma in the small hours of the morning in mid July and had to call 999.

The paramedic (Chris) arrived very quickly and put me at ease while testing my blood pressure and heart rate. He also applied one of the most comfortable cannulas I have ever received! I really appreciate the way that he and the ambulance personnel who later attended did everything they could to ease my discomfort and keep my blood pressure stable. They gladly took me to the hospital they I'd had my operation in, despite this being some distance away. Brilliant service.
