"Praise for 'Weight Matters' service"

About: Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

This story has been posted by Healthwatch Tameside on behalf of a member of the public. We have their details and will forward any comments to them. They said…

This lady wants to tell others about the ‘Weight Matters’ Service at Stalybridge Clinic. She is very happy with the service and is full of praise for Dawn, who runs the clinic.

She has been attending for about a month and she has lost about half a stone in weight. She said it is not about dieting it is about education. She thinks that it is a really good, interesting and informative course.

She feels that is not advertised enough. Her GP recommended the course. It is free, it helps with weight problems, diabetic issues and food issues.
