About: Kettering General Hospital

With my 1st baby born in Kettering I was given someone else's notes and they didn't no till I phoned to say I was bring them back, then was told my baby had to come out fast took them 5 days before I had her, now on my 2nd due in 3 weeks and 6 days and feeling sick I have to go back I have found they have lied in my notes, they don't care what you want my midwife sent me to hosp for pains in my belly and back to wait about 6 hrs to say they was going to give me meds for a uti they knew I never had didn't see the point in the hosp just a waste of time

I would like very much to understand how we can work to improve your view of our maternity unit and how we can help your experience to become significantly more positive. The statement you make regarding ‘lies’ in your records is very serious, and I would welcome the opportunity to understand what you believe has happened so that I might take the most appropriate and immediate action. Or alternatively you can contact your Community midwife directly, or Polly Leigh, the Lead Midwife for the Community teams on 01536 492902.
