"Treatment after we were assualted"

About: Sittingbourne Memorial Hospital

My husband and I are in our seventies, and we're assualted at 6pm on the 18th August. The police advised we should go to hospital as we both had head and facial injuries, the Minor Accident Unit at The Memorial Hospital was excellent, we were seen immediately, and we're seen together in the same treatment room, which was nice for us to be together as we were very shook up. It was decided that we should be sent to Medway Hospital, and an ambulance was called to take us. The nursing staff and receptionist at The Memorial were excellent and we were made to feel so safe and secure in their hands. So a big thankyou to all concerned.

Dear Mr and Mrs Lockwood

Many thanks for taking the time to tell us about your recent experience of Sittingbourne Memorial Hospital Minor Injury Unit.

It is good to know that the staff there were able to give you the prompt care and attention you both needed following such a horrible incident.

We will pass your kind comments onto the nursing staff and the receptionist.

We hope you are feeling much better now.

Best wishes
