"I would go again if I needed to!"

About: Holly House Hospital

I have been in pain for months and the NHS were going to take over a month to give me a scan. All the NHS did was put me on Tramadol (a highly addictive drug) and ask me to wait until my scan. I had enough one day and decided to ring Holly House and choose a consultant to see. They gave me an appointment 24 hours later and I had my scan 72 hours after that. Now I have my diagnosis I am being referred to the NHS for my surgery. It’s a shame I had to pay to be diagnosed in the end, but it was worth every penny. My only issue with the hospital is the receptionists aren't very friendly and are quite sarcastic and tend to be more interested in talking to each other than with patients waiting at the desk. At one point however I was waiting 45 mins for my consultation and someone went in before me who was waiting only 10 minutes – I spoke to reception and they admitted they had taken the wrong patient in and it was meant to be me! Other than that, everything is good with this hospital. But during my examinations and consultations and scans I was treated with dignity and respect which is important to me.
