"I don't have enough time to be wasting it on numerous appointments"

About: Dewsbury Health Centre

(as the patient),

I have no spare time without children to attend appointments as in my workplace let me go to the drop in centre to speak to a nurse about getting my contraception changed.

I had to wait an hour to be seen by two people who did and said the same things only to be told to make another appointment without kids to change contraception.

Why is there not an option to do the first lot of appointments on the phone or miss it and just have the thing taken out? ?

I couldn't get another appointment for a month so I'm considering cutting the thing out myself as its making me ill.

Thank you for taking the time to feed back to us. I am sorry that on this occasion our service did not meet your need.

There is the option to have the first consultation over the phone and I’m sorry if you were not advised of this. It is our policy not to have children at procedure appointments for safety reasons.

Your comments will be taken on board, we value all feedback and use it to improve our service. I am more than happy to discuss this situation with you personally if you so wish,
