Just the other day I had to have a mammogram at the Breast Care unit at this hospital as a result of suffering pain in my left breast area for one week I went to my GP , after two weeks I had to return to my GP and because there was little improvement I was referred. The very next day I had an appointment which was two weeks later , during this time I was convinced that it would be the worst outcome and was an absolute wreck by the time of my appointment. On entering the unit right from the start I was treat with the utmost dignity and respect, I had the mammogram and waited to see the consultant for the results, for me it was the best news and I consider myself so lucky I was to say the least in shock even at the good news and cried , the next day I hit a brick wall at the realisation of six weeks fearing the worst. For those of you who are reading this and have not received such good news, I just want to say that I will be thinking of you as you go on your journey and receive your treatment , you are all very brave and I wish you all the very best. But rest assured you are in the very best of hands, with the kindest most caring people so thank you to you all at the Breast Care Unit Chorley.
"So kind"
