Our A&E department expanded in December 2013 and is one of the busiest and most modern in London - they don't even have name boards to confirm which patient is in which bay. Staff are overstretched to the point they are rude and unwelcoming. My partner received what can only be described as very substandard and bordering on vile treatment in July.
The ambulance crew were fantastic, however the poor treatment received by the A&E doctor more than made a negative impact and will result in an official complaint being made because if they believe that is acceptable standards of treatment then I'm flabbergasted. Stunned by the unprofessional attitude which really does let down the genuine hard-working staff that do deserve some credit.
One word for the A&E department - Shocking!
