The first advantage was how easy it was to find a parking space, therefore very calm on checking in, I was met by lovely reception staff who directed me to the day case unit waiting area, I had literally just sat down when a nurse came and took me through, giving me full instructions of what I had to do and kindly showing me where the bathrooms were located. After an anxious wait I was escorted to the endoscopy unit and reassurance given throughout the procedure, by another lovely nurse who stayed by my side throughout. At the end of the procedure I was informed of what would happen next, and escorted back to the day case unit. I was not feeling to good after the procedure, the nurse very kindly made me a cup of tea and offered some biscuits, and advised me to take as long as I needed before getting dressed and leaving, I didn't feel pressurised at all to hurry up. Overall my 1st experience at fulwood hall was excellent, everything is done in a calm, peaceful environment and I would highly recommend to my friends and colleagues
