"A thank you to Endoscopy Department"

As a person with a complex medical condition, who is used to being challenged about my condition and self care by Treliske hospital, it was with a little intrepidation tbat I attended a day clinic in this department for an endoscopy.

This procedure is usually minor for most people but fir myself and my carer, this small procedure is a huge cgallenge.

From the minute we arrived, we was treated with the upmost respect, listened too and my needs met at every point.

West Cornwall may be smaller but their staff are friendly, amazing and most of all caring, whilst making a little time to make sure that the patient is fully comfortable wuth what is due to happen.

Treliske take note.

If all my complicated treatment needs could be met by West Cornwall, I would transfer immediately.

A special thanks to the team in Endoscopy for making the experience less scary and a lot easier despite Treliske not forwarding any information on my condition.
