"I was disappointed with the urgent care my son received"

About: Hurley Group Moorfields Eye Hospital (City Road Campus)

(as a parent/guardian),

Took my 7 year old son to Queen Mary's hospital urgent care with painful right eye, waited for 4 hours to be seen by the doctor who failed to diagnose foreign body in the cornea and sent him home with drops for conjunctivitis.

Took him to Moorfields eye hospital in the early hours of the morning, where he was seen quickly, efficiently and had foreign body removed.

Thank you for your comment. Quick and efficient and available is I think what people look for in an A&E service and it is appreciated when this is recognised. Thank you for taking the time to leave such a positive comment and you know where we are should you need us again.
